Move over Warhol, Mike Mitchell’s here. Gaining national recognition last year following his I’m with Coco poster for Conan O’Brien, Mitchell borrows from the hyper-saturated hues that defined the portraits of Warhol’s larger-than-life subjects and makes them his own by using paint–not just Polaroids–to capture celebrities.
